LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
LABUST members prof. Nikola Mišković and Nadir Kapetanović gave an interview to the Novi List magazine about the Smart Blue Tourism project in which LABUST is a project partner. They emphasized the importance of IoT solutions in the maritime environment through the development of pollution monitoring buoys as well as situational awareness modules for future autonomous ships.
