LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
The Horizon Europe SeaTecHub project, coordinated by the Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI), on which UNIZG-FER will contribute leading the Crotian ecosystem and the Research and Innovation Work Package, has launched its official web page and social media pages.
The project aims to strengthen Croatian and Cypriot innovation ecosystems and improve access to excellence for research and innovation actors by cross-border collaboration on a common strategy and alongside value-adding chains within the area of eco-innovative technologies for healthy and productive seas. Croatia and Cyprus, as Mediterranean Widening EU member states, share a common challenge: limited collaboration in their marine and maritime sectors. Together, we can overcome this challenge and foster sustainable blue economies. By embracing eco-innovative maritime technologies and bridging the gap through collaboration, we can reduce ecological footprints and build thriving economies that sustain our precious marine environment.
