LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
Members of the Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST) attended the International Interdisciplinary Field Workshop of Maritime Robotics and Applications Breaking the Surface - BtS held from 27 September to 5 October 2020 in Biograd na Moru, Croatia.
Two lectures were held by LABUST members, Dula Nad and Fausto Ferreira. PhD students Anja Babic, Igor Kvasic, Ivan Loncar, Nadir Kapetanovic and Frane Rogic actively participated in the BtS programme as well having given presentations on their PhD topics and research.
During the BtS week, hands-on demostrations and field trails for various projects were carried out, respectively CroMarX, subCULTron, HEKTOR and InnovaMare. The trials aimed at testing the equipment and algorithms, followed by data collection and processing the week after the workshop.
