LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
From June 5 to 8, we conducted a series of field experiments as part of the Smart Blue Tourism and SeaTecHub projects. During this period, we successfully assembled and integrated a custom sensor rack onto a vessel and collected approximately 15 hours of multisensor data in real maritime conditions.
The data was gathered while navigating through the areas of Trogir, Split, Hvar, Brač, and Rogoznica, and includes recordings from LiDAR, cameras, AIS, IMU and GNSS.
In addition to data collection, we tested a smart buoy designed to measure water quality parameters, contributing to the broader understanding of the maritime environment relevant to both projects.
