LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
The Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST) members attended the 16th International Interdisciplinary Field Workshop of Maritime Robotics and Applications Breaking the Surface - BtS held from 29th September until 6th October 2024 in Biograd na Moru, Croatia, organized by LABUST, and supported by projects UWIN-LABUST, SeaTecHub, Monusen, uBlueTec and MASK.
LABUST members participated in the rich programme which included included 14 lectures, 10 demos and 11 tutorials, but also managed to conduct trials for the ongoing projects.
The underwater localization challenge was organized again this year after two successful ones in 2022 and 2023, and got great reactions from the participants describing it as exciting and challenging.
We are looking forward to the next year's edition of BtS which is going to take place in Cyprus!
