LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
LABUST members Barbara Arbanas Ferreira and Fausto Ferreira visited the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa) on July 23, 2024. During their visit, Barbara delivered an invited talk at the "Get Together" seminar. She presented the work from UNIZG-FER on an innovative multi-robot system designed for surveillance and intervention at sea, sharing insights into the groundbreaking technology that led her team to win first place at MBZIRC 2023, one of the world's premier robotics competitions. The session was highly engaging, fostering fruitful discussions about the latest in maritime technology and exploring how our educational system can support such research.
