LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
LABUST members Đula Nađ, Nadir Kapetanović, Matko Batoš, and Matej Ćosić went to sea trials in Aegina, Greece on 24-28.6.2024. They recorded the ancient Northern breakwater next to the ancient Naval harbor in Aegina using ASV H2Omni-X mounted with underwater cameras and a DVL. The cameras were used for photogrammetric documentation of the underwater cultural heritage site while the DVL was used for coarse bathymetric mapping. In parallel, Đula held a few ROV piloting courses for project partners.
