LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
During MONUSEN Summer School organized by the University of Montenegro, held in Kotor, Montenegro on 3-6th June, a few of LABUST members held workshops on several topics. On June 5th, Ivan Lončar held a workshop titled "LoRa networks for localization" and Luka Mandić held a workshop titled "Data meets Model Predictive Control: From classical MPC to an online adaptive direct data-driven navigation and control of autonomous vessels". On June 6th, Nadir Kapetanović held a workshop titled "Detecting anomalous objects in side-scan sonar imagery". On June 7th prof. Marin Vuković and Magdalena Šimunec held a "Cybersecurity – data, users and machines" workshop. Each workshop lasted 3 hours with an introductory theoretical lecture and a hands-on tutorial. Magdalena Šimunec and Matej Fabijanić participated in all workshops all 5 days.
