LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
On June 3rd, Nadir Kapetanović gave a presentation on his research in the past five years during the 2nd mini-scientific-professional conference Croatian Academy of Technical Sciences (HATZ) - Cohesive factor of technical and biotechnical sciences and the Croatian economy. After the conference, at the 51st regular annual assembly of HATZ, he was awarded the Vera Johanides award. The award is given to young researchers who have not reached the age of 35 and have defended their doctorate in science, and who in the past five years have achieved noticeable personal scientific or professional progress or achieved a notable contribution in the field they are researching.
