LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
The interactive exhibition "Journey into the Depths of Underwater Systems and Technologies" was officially opened at the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum on May 23, 2024 as part of the UWIN-LABUST project.
The exhibition presents innovations that have enabled people to explore and interact with the mysterious underwater world and its inhabitants. From autonomous ships and divers, all the way to the latest innovative research equipment, the exhibition shows breakthroughs that advance our understanding of the underwater world and revolutionize the maritime industry.
The exhibition was realized in cooperation University of Zagreb / Sveučilište u Zagrebu, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies (LABUST) Laboratory for Underwater Systems and Technologies and the University of Haifa, University of Haifa the Department of Maritime Technologies, Laboratory for Underwater Acoustics and Navigation Underwater acoustic and navigation laboratory (ANL), supported by the joint Research and Innovation Program Horizon Europe of the European Union (UWIN-LABUST), Croatian-Israeli Scientific Research, Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia (MZO) and Israeli Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (MOST).
