LABUST has taken part in many scientific research projects relating to underwater systems and technologies in various roles. This includes numerous international (FP7, H2020, ONRG, INTERREG,...) as well as national projects.
Assistant Professor Fausto Ferreira from LABUST participated on 19/10/2023 in the kick-off of the uBlueTec project. uBlueTec - Training framework on Underwater Technologies as key enabler for blue careers development project is a 30 months project with a total budget of 914,404.88€ funded by the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF). The project is coordinated by the Aix-Marseille University and includes 7 partners from 6 countries. The main goal of the project is to set up, test and validate a triple transition training and skills development model (green, blue, digital skills). LABUST is WP leader of the WP2 Educational Material, Curriculum & Piloting and is responsible for the development of curricula on underwater technologies.
